Avatars: Bringing Your Instructor to Life

We know that learning is most effective when you can both see and hear your instructor. To support this, TiLT provides Avatars—language- and culture-specific personas that make sessions more engaging and relatable.

  • In standard TiLT packages, you have access to a set of default avatars.

  • With TiLT Pro, you can create a personalized avatar profile. The system can even generate a look-alike version of yourself and clone your voice for a truly authentic teaching experience.

By default, a gender-specific avatar is enabled for each supported language. Below, you can see examples of our male and female instructor avatars for English (USA).

Enabling and Disabling Avatars

We understand that some users may prefer not to use avatars in certain creations. To disable avatars, go to your Account settings (accessible from your profile menu) and adjust the Enable AI Instructor option there.

You can also select the avatar gender and create your own custom avatar by selecting under "AI Instructor Preference" under Account.

Custom Avatars and Voice Cloning (Available in TiLT Pro Only)

This feature is available only to TiLT Pro Users, who also get the additional benefit of being able to control and edit the generated content more.

For creating your custom avatar and voice cloning, you will have to created an avatar profile under Account -> AI Instructor Preference.

This will open a separate window and guide you step by step, with clear instructions, to record your video and audio for Custom Avatars and Voice Cloning. As part of the process, you will also be asked to provide your explicit consent for the creation and use of your avatar.

The following sample screenshot gives you a sneak peak into the process.
