Modes: Research, Study and Brief

Research Mode

By selecting "Research" mode you can upload any document, presentation, or webpage and expect an in-depth, 15-30 minute exploration of any topic complete with custom, structured lessons and the support of Albert, your interactive research assistant. Research mode also enables you to translate presentation text while preserving the original format of the PowerPoint you upload. Please note: this feature only works with PPTX uploads.

Outputs include:

  • One detailed video (view-only, not downloadable), usually 15-30 minute long

  • Drag-and-drop quizzes autogenerated from the uploaded content

  • Downloadable presentations in PPTx and PDF formats

  • Downloadable videos — only in TiLT Pro.

Study Mode

Use "Study" mode with any document, presentation, or webpage to create interactive, multimedia study sessions from your materials, guided by a personal study buddy. Like Research mode, Study mode can also translate presentation text while preserving the original format of a PowerPoint you upload. Please note: this feature only works with PPTX uploads.

Outputs include:

  • Multiple 3-5 minute video segments designed to suit shorter attention spans and promote Socratic learning

  • Drag-and-drop quizzes autogenerated from the uploaded content

  • Downloadable PDFs

  • Downloadable PPTX files

Brief Mode

Use "Brief" mode with PDFs, word docs, notes, and webpages to provide a quick, multimedia overview of any topic with the support of a learning guide.

Outputs include:

  • Concise, 5-10 minutee video summaries for fast learning

  • Downloadable PDFs and presentations for quick reference

Accepted File Formats

Note: the input file size may not be more than 25MB and in standard versions TiLT does not accept files with more than 50 pages.

For uploading, simply "Drag n Drop" the file under "Document" tab.

Choosing Presentation Language

For creating sessions in non-English langauges, select from the dropdown "Translate Session to"

While the Instruction Box accepts open-ended, natural language prompts, it works best when you provide clear, specific directions to guide the content, rather than using it to change settings like language, voice, or avatars.
