Profile Settings and
A quick, step-by-step guide to configuring your profile, notifications, theme, and AI Instructor preferences.
Overview
From Account → Settings, you can:
Update your profile details (name, email, password)
Control automated emails
Switch theme (Light/Dark)
Turn AI Instructor on/off and choose a presentation preference
Delete your account
Accessing Account Settings
Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner.
Select Account → Settings.
ℹ️ If you don’t see certain options, your workspace admin may have restricted them.
Profile
Name & Last Name
Click Change to edit your display name.
Appears on shared content and certificates (where applicable).
Email
Click Change to update your sign-in address.
You’ll be prompted to verify the new email.
Password
Click Change to set a new password.
Use a strong passphrase (12+ chars, mixed case, numbers, symbols).
⚠️ Changing your email or password signs you out of other devices for security.
Communication
Automated Emails
Select… a frequency or category (e.g., product updates, activity summaries, reminders).
Choose Only essential if you prefer minimal notifications.
💡 Tip: Start with Only essential, then add categories as needed.
Appearance
Theme
Choose Light or Dark to match your system or accessibility needs.
AI Instructor
Enable AI Instructor
Toggle On to add an AI instructor (voice + on-screen guidance) to supported sessions.
AI Instructor Preference
Choose a presentation style (e.g., Male-presenting or Female-presenting).
This affects voice and avatar presentation in supported languages.
ℹ️ Avatars are shown on select, high-value pages to enhance learning while limiting distractions. You can disable avatars globally via Account settings at any time.
Privacy & Safety
We use session context to provide accurate, relevant explanations.
Voice and avatar features respect your language/dialect selection where supported.
You can opt out of avatars or AI Instructor at any time.

Account Management
Delete Account
Click Delete account to permanently remove your profile and data.
You’ll be asked to confirm this action.
❌ Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. Export any needed data first.
Troubleshooting
Can’t save changes? Check required fields and internet connection.
Didn’t get a verification email? Look in spam/junk; whitelist your workspace domain.
AI Instructor not appearing? Ensure the toggle is On and your session type supports it.
Theme not changing? Refresh the page; some browsers cache UI styles.
FAQ
Does changing email affect my existing content? No—your content remains; only your sign-in address changes.
Can I use AI Instructor without avatars? Yes. Disable avatars in Account settings while keeping Enable AI Instructor on.
Will AI Instructor match my language/dialect? Yes, where supported. It responds in both text and voice in the selected language/dialect.
